Provisional Member
As a provisional member you are a student who has shown active interest in PTK and serves the society in some capacity but doesn’t fit the full requirements to become a member. Provisional members shall not have the right to vote, hold office, or to represent the chapter at meeting of PTK. We really want to see you and hear your voice. Join and help us come up with our next activity with the college campus!
Alumni Member
An alumni member is a former member who either graduated or left in good standing and who was enrolled for at least one year in a two-year college. Alumni members shall be entitled to all privileges of active membership except the right to vote or hold office.
Honorary Member
An honorary member shall be a person who, in the opinion of Beta Zeta Rho chapter, has rendered distinguished service. Honorary members may not vote or hold office. Honorary members may be inducted during the chapter induction ceremony.
Transfer Member
A member from another Phi Theta Kappa chapter may transfer membership to be the Beta Zeta Pho chapter if he or she is maintained a cumulative GPA of the chapter as well as paying the local chapter membership fee.
Member
Must have completed 12 semester hours of associate degree work with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better, adhere to the school conduct code, and possess recognized qualities of citizenship. Grades for courses at other institutions may be considered when determining membership eligibility. The member shall have duly initiated into the Society and must maintain a GPA of 3.0 to remain in good standing.
